When Susan Jablon first began selling glass tile mosaic blends she had a simple philosophy: to provide artists and designers with an intimate, artistic, online experience. Importing glass tiles from Asia, Susan used her years of experience as a mosaic artist to create her own blends—a service hard to come by at the time. Using a guest bedroom as her office and studio, she targeted online customers in the hopes of providing them with a unique product in a global market. Customers loved the personal shopping experience Susan created by using their specifications and design ideas to produce unique blends that matched everything from their wallpaper to a favorite family photo. And while, over the past six years, the business has grown out of the bedroom, out of the house, and into a 14,000 square foot warehouse and design studio, her customer service philosophy—her commitment to creating an intimate online shopping experience—has not changed since the beginning.
