Rude and Bold Women is a womens' artist group that features the Susan Jablon piece as shown above, entitled "Wash Day". Susan molded casts of 44 different women and children for this piece, ranging in age from 2 to 94. This piece was hung from wall to wall in the YWCA, during the month long event. |

Sackler Center for Feminist Art, Feminist Art Base "Lalla Essaydi’s art, which often combines Islamic calligraphy with representations of the female body, addresses the complex reality of Arab female identity from the unique perspective of personal experience." Essaydi addresses the subject of Islamic tradition in her art work. |
